I had the pleasure of working with and being supported by Tess during my time as the Lead Nurse in the East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance, while working on a national nursing and midwifery project on improving access to genomic testing in Cystic Renal Disease. 

Tess was kind and generous with her time and knowledge, supporting us to ensure the patient voice was at the heart of the work we were doing. This meant arranging patient focus groups and several meetings to check we were asking the right questions at each step of the way.

I was very sad to hear that Tess has died, and I'm grateful to have met and worked alongside her.
